National Advisory Council on Nurse Education and Practice (NACNEP)
Council advises the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Congress on policy issues related to the Title VIII programs administered by the HRSA Bureau of Health Professions Division of Nursing, including nurse workforce supply, education and practice improvement.

National Center for Workforce Analysis (NCWA)
NCWA is a division of the Bureau of Health Professions, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services. Its mission is to collect, analyze and disseminate health workforce information and facilitate national, state and local workforce planning efforts. On its website, NCWA publishes reports on the supply and demand of nurses, as well as an annual survey of registered nurses.
